Since
the release of the first episode of Listen
To The City Breathe, I
have kept the opening mostly the same. It includes a few shots of
travelling around New York City, with the title screen appearing
last. I include the words DREAM, LIVE, SHINE, NYC because the series
was envisioned from the beginning to focus on people who are
dreaming, living, and shining in New York City. I haven't looked too
far into the future, but I expect that at some point I might try to
cover some people for whom some of those words don't fit. And that's
why the title rounds it all out: Listen
To The City Breathe. No
matter the dream, the life, or the shine, I want to eventually cover
all sorts of stories that breathe life into New York City.
By
the way, I stole the title from Yoko Ono's book Grapefruit,
where she assigns a game that uses a similar idea, but with slightly
different words.
